How about this for an alternate multiverse: Booker never makes it, and Comstock breaks Elizabeth…

This leads to her Columbia attacking New York in 1984.
However, in this thread, a young girl with extraordinary powers emerges from the sea in 1968. She bides her time, waiting for her opportunity…

You chose to survive, no matter the cost, and I will not let your instincts go to waste. This sets the scene for a clash of the Bioshock Titans in 1984.
